Here are some extremely simple vegan-friendly face mask ideas.

1 tsp of ground flaxseed
1 tbsp of warm water
1 tsp maple syrup
Let soak for 10 minutes before applying to face.

Once you’ve each made your masks, you can either have some comfy chairs ready with towels laid on them, or yoga mats or blankets laid out on the floor.
Ambiance for your covid friendly at home spa-day
First, find yourself some chill lo-fi hip-hop to stream on your TV for some absolutely relaxing vibes. For example, see below!
Be sure to have a bunch of candles going for cozy and relaxing lighting. On top of that having a diffuser going or burning some incense will most definitely complete the vibe.
If you don’t have many candles, maybe you should have a weird candle making night first!
If you don’t have either, ordering some affordable incense online is probably the most budget-friendly option!
What to wear to your spa night themed covid friendly at home night.
Comfy things! Lululemon pants, cozy t-shirts, relaxed bras, no bras, cozy socks, a high bun, loose messy hair, whatever feels good!
What to do at your at-home spa night
Take care of your feet!
Each person should have their own little bucket or plastic container that will at least one foot at a time and a small towel. You can easily find these containers online or at your local dollar store. Give your feet a little soak with some nice essential oils.
I recommend either using a pumice stone or loofah to really scrub those feet up! Get in the nooks and crannies. Feel are very underrated and it feels so good when we treat them!
Have some nice scented gentle soap and some essential oils in the mix.
Each person will have their own towel and their own favorite lotion to rub on their feet when finished cleaning. Your feet will feel magical.
Partner Manicures/ Pedicures
Depending on how much people have had to drink, you can get your partner to paint your nails should you feel so inclined. It also depends on your level of trust.
Massages?! (Depending on who you are stuck with!)
Depending also on how close you and your family and roommates are, or if you are alone with your partner, you can work trading massages into the mix! You’re already stuck in the house together anyway! None of us will be going out for massages and lord knows we need them now more than ever.
As we might be stuck at home for a while, it might be worth getting yourself a lovely massage oil! Massage oils truly help step up a massage. Even if you suck at massages, through on some oil and it will feel 10 times better. It may make massage night a more regular occurrence.
Foam roll your body out!
If you have a foam roller at home, tonight would be a fun night to use them! Get all the kinks out of your body without anybody needing to massage you! It can hurt sometimes but it is so great for your muscles.
Do some light Yin Yoga to Finish off your stay-at-home spa night.
The goal of these events is to get you doing things you normally wouldn’t, as well as keep you slightly more active on the weekend when things like gyms and fitness clubs are closing down again.
Yin yoga is the slowest and most relaxing of yogas. It is all about slow deep stretches that relieve tension and relax your mind and body. Find something you like and ideally cast it on your television. For example, (excuse the thumbnail):
What to eat for your adult-friendly stay-at-home spay night during covid.
I‘ve been thinking carefully about this, and here is my suggestion…
Thai food! It is fairly healthy while still being warm and comforting! It is quite easy to make or to find delicious vegan Thai food options, as most curries utilize coconut milk!
Many places will easily modify their ingredients if you ask and usually have tofu options for protein!
In case you want to stay up and watch something entertaining for your at-home spa night, I would recommend:
Planet earth videos!
Enchanting anime movies like Spirited Away.
Avatar the Last Air Bender (the animated series, you will cry, you will laugh, you learn deep life lessons and it is so relaxing)
Queer Eye, More Than a Makeover, always a heartwarming good time.
Enjoy your relaxing and weird evening at home! @ me if you do this!
